Story
Recording the information gained from an encounter with the entity. This record will reflect the following unique elements for these particular group of entities: the recognition of its distinctiveness that it carries from being a part of Walpurgis Night, and the pre-established data from documentation that has been observed from this particular period of time. These Abnormalities were designated as 'Fairies' according to former L Corp. documentation. A pair of wings sprouting from their emerald body appear to serve a practical function, giving them access to flight. It can be said that their appearance resembles those of 'fairies', a group of entities appearing in various folk tales. Delving further into the history of its records led to the discovery that they were once contained within the former L Corp. headquarters, and were moved to the 'Library' that appeared after an unknown event. This particular circumstance we find ourselves in appears to be a combat encounter that is a part of an effort to achieve 'Realization' of a certain sector of the Library... ... and the said effort entails suppressing the smaller 'Fairy' entities and the larger 'Fairy' entity. It seems that, according to the records, the larger Fairy was labeled the 'Fairy Queen'. That is all the information that is available to me at the moment. Concluding the report. → They're... fairies...? T-that can't be. Fairies are supposed to be beautiful, kind, and, and... → Think about it for a second. Think back to those 'Fairies' that we ran into back in the Mirror Dungeons and the Railways. → Eugh... → Huh, yeah... A bit like them green, mushy sods we saw elsewhere, innit? → And those wings, too...
Recording the information gained from encountering the entity in battle. This report will cover the peculiarities that have been observed in our encounter. It was repeatedly craving for a source of protein; it was observed to be frequently making requests for unmarred, fresh meat. Of course, as we did not bring with us any of that... particular meat, we were unable to meet its demands. There was a fairly lighthearted suggestion of amputating one of the Sinners to provide it with fresh meat, but the proposal was quickly rejected after drawing heavy criticism from the Manager and several other Sinners. It has been observed that the large entity, the 'Fairy Queen', when it noticed that the smaller Fairies were nearing death, opted to cannibalize them. It continued to crave fresh meat, even after its momentary satiation. ... A critical issue arose after an extended battle. Once there were no smaller Fairies to cannibalize, the queen entity became frenzied, unable to find a way to sate its hunger. The destructive power behind its strikes grew by multiple magnitudes as well. A swift retreat was our only option, as it was determined that we could not recover from that particular blow. It can be determined that a prolonged battle will not be in our favor; we must find a way to suppress the entity quickly. Concluding the report. → Oi, the big one kept chomping down on the smaller ones whenever it looked like it was 'bout to kick the bucket. Any bright ideas on how to stop that rampage? → ... Quite. But I don't believe letting the smaller entities live just for the possibility of shortening the battle is much of a sound strategy. → Hm hm! Forsooth, I have espied that, after one of its violent meals, the 'queen' appeared to lose quite a bit of its vim! → Uh... what, like it fell into a food coma or something?
Recording an additional significant discovery. Using the strategy identified by the Sinners in our last encounter, we were able to conduct this battle with somewhat greater efficacy. However, we have also identified various additional attack patterns from the entity. Using the information gathered in the previous encounter, the Sinners did not attack the smaller Fairies, preventing the larger entity from cannibalizing them. However, repeated use of that strategy invariably led to the queen growing frenzied, clearly unable to withstand its hunger. Another, previously unidentified element in this battle has also been observed. As the battle continued, we noticed that smaller Fairy entities would sometimes join the battle. Perhaps this can be attributed to the existence of a colony that we have yet to discover. Although we were unable to confirm whether they were a permanent addition to the battle, the conclusion remains the same: a prolonged battle will be to our disadvantage. A concrete, calculated strategy is recommended against this entity. Concluding the report.
